Are our products for everyone?

I started using the products that I recommend to people like me because of the results I got when I used these products for my son who was diagnosed with asthma when he had an attack at 5 years old.

I loved the products and what they did for me and my family that I decided to make it a business of my own. I started out as a consumer before I decided to make a business out of marketing the products.  So when I decided to do the business I was told to share the the products and the business with all my friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers, etc., and the products was for everyone because everyone would want it.  Not so. I learned the hard way.

I am building the business on a part time basis now, because I am still working and want to create more supplemental income to have on hand when I plan on retiring in the next 5 years.  And also plan to helping my daughter with a portion of her student loan, and additional income for emergency.

Our products and business opportunity is not for everyone.  Everyone is not our prospects.  I am taking a marketing class online from a Harvard educated coach who has been in the network marketing field for over 20 plus years.  We were told over and over again that EVERYONE is not our prospects and our products are not for EVERYONE.

We are in the sorting business, it is like shopping for shoes.  If you have an event and need new shoes you go to the shoe store and you look for a pair of shoes for your event.  The sales associate might ask you what is the event you tell them you are going to a wedding reception so that eliminate the other shoes.  So then you are asked what size and color.

Well marketing your products are like shopping for shoes you are not going to buy all the shoes in the stores because all of those shoes are not your size, color, brand, etc. So to cut down on the rejection of your products or “NO’s” you look for those people who have your name.  So will all the people named “DENISE” raise your hands?  Then I can ask questions to see if what I have is a fit for them.

Marketing your products is about values each one of us have our own values.  So if you are looking to market your products seek people who have similar values like you.  So there you have it that’s what I am learning and understanding how to talk to people so a 13 year old would understand.
